Bid for Hope: FAQ’s
Bid for Hope is a fundraising gala supporting Act4Parkinsons’ mission to uplift the Parkinson’s community through research advancement, simplified education, and expanded support group resources. The event brings people together to raise awareness, honor those affected, and fund meaningful progress in the fight against Parkinson’s.
Guests will enjoy an inspiring evening featuring a live comedy performance by Bryce Stanley and a keynote presentation by Larry Skeen, PT, DPT, LSVT, on early detection and intervention for Parkinson’s. The event includes a catered dinner, a silent auction with unique items and experiences, and a heartfelt Memorial Table Tribute honoring those affected by Parkinson’s. It’s a night of connection, awareness, and support for the PD community.

This event is open to the public and ideal for individuals living with Parkinson’s, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and anyone passionate about supporting the cause.

Memorial Tribute: $25 or $50
Group tables are reserved. Individual ticket holders will have open seating unless otherwise noted.
The Memorial Table Tribute is a special way to honor loved ones affected by Parkinson’s. Inspired by the symbolism of the Missing Man Table, this tribute offers a quiet, visual space of remembrance during the gala.
We offer two tribute tiers:
* Tier 1 – Name Listing ($25): Your loved one’s name will be included on the Memorial Table and in the event slideshow.
* Tier 2 – Personalized Tribute ($50): Includes a tent card with a custom message and a prominent placement in the slideshow. Limited to 8 tributes.
This tribute is a meaningful way to celebrate lives touched by Parkinson’s while supporting the PD community.
Yes! The silent auction will feature a variety of unique items and experiences, including a Kansas City Chiefs ticket basket, Branson show tickets, restaurant gift certificates, spa packages, a Flex Tool Box, and much more. All proceeds directly support Act4Parkinsons’ mission to advance research, simplify education, and strengthen support for the Parkinson’s community.
