Professor Bastiaan Bloem

Professor of Neurology at Radboud University Medical Center, Director at the Center of Expertise for Parkinson & Movement Disorders, on the Board of ParkinsonNet, and the Editor in Chief for the Journal of Parkinson’s Disease. Bloem’s scientific research focuses particularly on Parkinson’s disease. His studies include gait and balance disorders, and the development and evaluation of person-centered medicine. In addition, his research focuses on wearable sensors with much attention to machine learning and artificial intelligence.
