Message from our Founder
Together, we advocate. Together, we create change. Together, we end Parkinson’s.
I have Parkinson’s Disease (PD). PD is a progressive brain disorder that causes unintended or uncontrollable movements and related conditions. PD is the fastest growing neurological disease in the world. In the U.S., over one million Americans suffer from this terrible disease. On July 2, 2024, President Biden signed the National Plan to End Parkinson’s Act into law! Now referred to as the National PD Project, this is the first legislation that will unite the federal government in a mission to prevent and cure Parkinson’s. These bills would alleviate financial and health burdens on American families and ensure those living with the disease have access to the care they need.
